The Next Chapter is unfolding for the Friends of the Bohemia and we want you to be part of it!
Formed almost ten years ago, this all-volunteer, nonprofit watershed association has done great things with tremendous support from Cecil County, the State of Delaware, donors and volunteers. FOB has sampled water quality in the Bohemia River and communicated the results, engaged the community and raised awareness of environmental issues, worked with school students and educators, and partnered on in-ground projects to reduce the amount of pollution flowing into the Bohemia River and the Chesapeake Bay. Hundreds of FOB volunteers have removed tons of trash from the watershed and have learned about the importance of preserving and protecting the beautiful world around us. Help us continue this critical mission and build a new chapter of progress and success in making the Bohemia the best tributary of the Chesapeake Bay and one that sustains wildlife through clean water and healthy habitat while preserving a beautiful waterway for all to use and enjoy.
